Erin Lachapelle, AMS Principal

Since 2006, Erin Lachapelle has been dedicated to the field of education. Initially, she served as a science teacher at Grafton High School for eleven years. During her tenure at Grafton High School, Ms. Lachapelle revised and wrote the science curriculum, participated in their co-teaching pilot program, contributed to the development of an advisory program, served as a NEASC co-chair, coached tennis and unified track, and advised the student council. She then transitioned to her role as Dean of Students at Ashland High School, where she cultivated positive relationships with students and families, supported educators, and worked collaboratively as part of a leadership team to use data to make informed decisions in the best interest of students. In May 2024, she was selected to serve as the next AMS Principal.

Ms. Lachapelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stonehill College and earned a Master of Arts in Education from Fitchburg State University in 2012. Additionally, Ms. Lachapelle earned her administrative license through the Commonwealth Leadership Academy in 2012.
