Come join us for a fun and relaxing time in the Art Room.  Each week there will be a variety of free-choice projects, as well as an opportunity for students to work on class projects if they need more time.  We will do drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, jewelry-making and more.

Best Buddies Club

We are pleased to offer a Best Buddies Program at Ashland Middle School!  Best Buddies is a program that creates opportunities for students with different abilities to build meaningful friendships, gain self-confidence and create shared experiences. Meetings will be held once a month during Discovery Block; students will come together to play games, participate in art activities, spread awareness and much more!  Meetings will be inclusive and community building; some students may be a one to one buddy and other students will plan and run the monthly activities.  Please look for more information in the coming weeks; notifications of meetings will be sent through announcements and email. All students are welcome and we look forward to a great year!

Diversity Club is a safe space for conversations and support for LGBTQ issues and any other issues around diversity in our school (race, religion, gender, and social issues). All students are welcome, whether you are dealing with these issues yourself or want to be a friend and ally to make our school an accepting place for all. 
Drama Club

Drama Club is an after-school program that puts on two shows each year - a play in the fall and a musical in the spring. Students can participate in one show or both. They can perform onstage or contribute offstage as a member of Tech Crew. Drama Club is a welcoming and inclusive community, and there is a place in Drama for every student who wishes to participate. Showdates for the fall play are December 13th & 14th.
